In Physics 1, Mrs. Perez starts the year by challenging students to design and construct the tallest free standing tower from a single sheet of typing paper and 30 centimeters of scotch tape. The activity allows students to work together in groups on processing skills including observing, formulating models, measuring and questioningall part of the scientific method. This year there were many successful towers of varying designs. The tallest tower measured 117 centimeters tall. That's over one meter! Amazing!!!
