Among the Ministers activities, organizing and setting up for the eighth grade Twilight Retreat has become a tradition for these seniors. The Ministers meet various times during the summer to gather ideas and themes that they think will help the "new comers" feel right at home in the Carmel family.

The theme of the retreat changes every year based upon the school's theme of the year; however, the day usually consists of a skit, an activity, icebreaker groups, and mass- all of which are led by the Ministers.

As a Minister, it is an obligation to serve at school masses. Which mass the Minister serves at, depends on the "team" in which she is a part of. Each team rotates in order to give every Minister a chance to serve to the entire student body, as well as the faculty members. The team "leader" assigns each member of her group to a designated area of students: eighth grade, freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, and floor.

The last activity in which a minister is to participate in is volunteering at events such as 8th Grade Commencement, Freshmen Scapular Mass, Sophomore Cub Mass, Junior Pin Mass, and Senior Ring Mass. Finally, a select few are chosen to serve at their last and final mass: Graduation Mass.
