SNHS requires their members to participate in service projects.  Service Projects are out of school events or activities that the members of the club put on for their community.  Every member is required to complete two service projects before the end of the year.

The service projects help the girls learn more about the Spanish culture and traditions found within their hometown, New Orleans.  Participating in service projects also allows them to further develop their Spanish speaking skills and learn more about the Spanish people living in their city.
